Hey beautiful people! Happy Monday! Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend. Just wanted to share a quick outfit I wore to a cookout this past weekend. I felt like Pocahontas with my long flowy hair and statement tribal necklace lol (hence the title of my post). Y'all already know my love for statement pieces so you already know it was love at first sight when I first saw this necklace. My mother actually sells these pieces so when I saw it on her display I immediately begged her for it lol (benefits of having a business woman for a mom, haha! ). Since the necklace is bold on its own I paired it with simple pieces to balance out the look. Hope you like! Till next post! :)

Hey Beautiful people! Happy Tuesday!! Hope everyone is having a safe and productive week so far! So this past Sunday I turned the BIG 25!!! Im officially an adult....its all downhill from here!! :( lol jk. I'm grateful to God for adding another year to me and my brothers life (for those who don't know, I have a twin brother) & I pray that we are blessed with many more to come. To celebrate our day this year we went to see The Lion King on broadway which was simply amazing!! Seeing the show live is such an experience and brought back soo many childhood memories for me cause as kids that was one of our favorite Disney movies to watch. Unfortunately the Kennedy Center does not allow you to take pics during the show but I did sneak in a few pics of the theatre. The show will be playing at the Kennedy Center for practically the whole summer so if you're in the DMV area I'd definitely suggest you check it out. Overall I enjoyed my day and I'm grateful for another year. Here are a few pics from the day below. Hope you enjoy, till next post! :)
