Hey Beautiful people! Happy first of the month! We have finally reached the last month of 2014!! We thank God! How was everyone's Thanksgiving? I enjoyed mine with my loved ones and hope everyone enjoyed theirs too. Just wanted to do a quick post on my outfit for the evening. I styled yet another graphic sweater but this time around I went for a semi dressy look. I just love graphic sweaters/tees because of their versatility. They can be dressed up or down which leaves more room for styling options. When I first saw this Snoopy sweater I knew these H&M pants that I previously styled here would be the perfect pairing. I was very pleased with the outcome! What do you guys think? How do you guys style graphic tees/sweaters? Feel free to let me know below. Till next post! :)
Hey beautiful people! Happy hump day! Just a quick outfit of the day post for you all. So this past Sunday we had a send off dinner for one of my cousins who will be traveling to Jamaica this summer for school. Since it was a chill dinner with fam I kept my outfit pretty casual with an oversized sweater and distressed jeans. I've been wanting to rock a cute causal outfit like this for awhile so I'm glad it came together well. I decided to dress up the outfit a little with my strappy heeled sandals and I was good to go! What I loved most about this fit was the pastel color of my sweater, clutch, and earrings. Unfortunately my camera did not pick up the colors too well but I took a separate picture below just for you all :) Hope everyone has a safe and blessed remainder of the week! Till next post folks!
Hello again beautiful people! Happy Sunday! Hope everyone is enjoying their memorial day weekend so far! To kick off my three day weekend I attended Jazz in the Garden with my sisters and friends on Friday. For those not familiar with Jazz in the Garden, its an outdoor event held at the National Gallery of Art every Friday during the summer season. From great live jazz music to a relaxed atmosphere among beautiful sculptures, Jazz in the Garden in definitely a must during the summer season. Nothing better then a great atmosphere and good live music....for free! Lol
Since this was the first one of the season it was quite packed. When we got there we had to wait in line just to enter but once in it was well worth the wait. We enjoyed the sounds of Elikeh (an Afropop band that has gained a new fan by the way lol) by the water while sipping on our sangria's lol. Over all the evening was very pleasant and enjoyable. Going with the whole garden theme I wore my floral kimono that I styled awhile ago with a bright yellow chiffon maxi skirt. Here are a few pics from the evening below! What have you all been doing with your holiday weekend? Feel free to let me know! Till next post :)
Happy Monday folks! Just wanted to share a quick outfit that I wore to an outing this past weekend. When it comes to my style I'm definitely a sucker for statement pieces & this lovely embroidered aztec print crop top from Missguided definitely makes a statement! To add to the boldness of the top I chose a bodycon skirt with a thigh high split. I finished off the look with my intricate Zara heels to add to the abstract look of the top. Hope you guys like! Till next post! :)
Hey beautiful people! Happy Saturday! Hope everyone took advantage of this beautiful weather today in the DMV...I sure did! I spent the day with my siblings catching up with my lovely cousins at Busboys and Poets which is always a good time. Like I always say, good food and good people make for a good time! Here are a few pics from the day!
