Hey all! Happy Hump day! So this past Palm Sunday the DMV was blessed with perfect 80 degree weather!!! If only you guys knew how overjoyed I was this day lol. I swear this past winter has just been the worst & it just does not want to go away...can you imagine we experienced freezing rain yesterday & the temperature dropped to a low of 36 degrees by night -___- This global warming thing is NO joke! Smh...Anyway back to the perfect weather we experienced on Sunday. Since we reached a high of 80 I figured it would be the perfect time to pull out my Peter Pilotto pants. I paired it with a simple crop top and a statement necklace to finish off the look!

One of the main reasons I wanted to wear this outfit was so that I can take my pictures by this tree by my house lol. I love how the print on the pants matches the flowers to a T. Seeing these trees in full bloom around the DMV bring me soo much joy because its a sign that warmer days are ahead! :)

Hey Beautiful people! Happy New Month!! First off I wanna thank you all for your lovely comments on my last post! I truly appreciate your feed back & kind words! :) I also want to welcome my new followers! Thank you for your support! My Dad came into town this weekend from North Carolina so we spent the afternoon with him which was lovely. Its simple times like that that I truly appreciate and try not take for granted. Here are a few pics I took after our outing.

For this look I styled my Peter Pilotto blouse with all black items. This blouse is such a great statement piece & has such great detailing! One of my favorite details of the blouse is the lace black & white sleeves. For some reason the flowers on the sleeves remind me of the flowers from a cherry blossom tree and the confetti in Coldplay's "Lovers in Japan" video, hence the title of my post...random I know lol. I finished the look off with a bold black lip! My sisters weren't really a fan of my lip color but I didn't want to pair it with an obvious red lip so I decided on the black. What do you guys think? Be honest lol

Hey beautiful people! Just a quick post for you all! So as we all know the Peter Pilotto collection for Target was released in early February. I finally decided to check out the collection this past weekend and I thank God I waited because almost everything from the collection is now on clearance lol. Surprisingly some of the workers at the Target I went to advised that they received a lot of returns from the collection. Not sure why thats the case but I personally like the collection. Yes they were some questionable pieces but overall I love the mix of prints and the florals represented in this collection. Cant wait to style them for the upcoming spring/summer! :) Here are a few items I purchased below. Make sure to check out your local Target if you're interested.
