Good day beautiful people & a Happy Sunday to ya! Hope everyone is enjoying whats left of the weekend. I've enjoyed my weekend thus far. Last night I attended the first Inaugural celebration for the women of Umuada Mbano Association, which is an an association my mother is apart of. The purpose of the organization which started back in 2009 is to promote their cultural heritage of Mbano, become involved in charitable work in their native villages in Nigeria, and to promote union and support among one another. Its an organization I'm proud my mother is apart of and I pray it continues to grow and prosper. It was a pleasant evening filled with rich Igbo culture, dance, and music! Although I enjoyed myself I felt a bit overdressed for the event :/ lol but unfortunately my tailor was unable to complete the outfit I had planned for this event so I just decided to wear this dress, which I was planning to wear to another event this summer. Ohh well I guess its better to be over dressed than underdressed right? lol Till next post people! :)

  14. Sunday morning stumbles...I'm not petite but decided to check out your blog off of Bloglovin' by the title alone. And then I noticed the Igbo title....Anyway, you look gorgeous in that dress. It looks sparkly and shiny, like a heavier material from a distance.
