Hey beautiful people!! Its been quite a minute hasn't it...Ahh it feels soo good to blog! Apologies for my absence, but I'm back! So it's currently DC Fashion week in the DMV so there have been several events going on throughout the week for it. Thursday night was the Fashion Industry and Networking party. After seeing a video of last year's event I thought it be fun to check it out and a good way to network with people who share similar interest as me. Unfortunately I arrived a little late to the event so I missed the fashion show that was held and I was a bit too shy to walk up to people I didn't know to network (I know you're thinking "So why did you go then?" lol) Well I think I would of had an easier time if it was less crowded in the venue and if the music wasn't so loud. But ohh well hopefully there will be other events in the future that I can attend. I did meet a lovely MUA artist on my way out though. Check out her blog here, she was a sweetheart! Afterwards we went to the Nando's near by which was the perfect way to end the night. Aint nothing better than good food! lol Overall it was a nice chill evening. Here a few pics I took before leaving the house. ( Sidenote: As you can see I have my long flowy weave that I mentioned I was craving in my last post lol So I like these pics alot better! Hey beautiful people! Hope everyone had a great labor day weekend. I know I sure did! This past weekend was definitely one for the books! I spent it down in Philly for JayZ's second annual music festival Made in America. This years' festival featured artist such as 2 Chains, ASAP Rocky, Calvin Harris, Emeli Sande, and my personal favorites Kendrick Lamar and Beyonce!!  As you guys know I have been looking forward to the festival for sometime now so I'm glad it did not disappoint. Each artist put on a good show and I have to say I have a new found love for Emeli Sande. I hear her music randomly in stores, commercials etc but never knew she was the artist. Her voice is beyond amazing live! Beyonce of course killed her set as well. Her set was pretty much the same as her Mrs Carter World tour but she left out a few songs. Overall it was a weekend full of endless laughs, great people, and great music! It was definitely great way to end my summer! I wasn't too crazy about the pics I took cause of my hair :/ Ladies you know how it is when you picture an outfit with a certain hairstyle...yea this is not how I pictured my hair with these outfits lol I think a long flowy weave would of looked better haha....but ahh well I worked with what I had..Until next post people!
