My baby turns ONE today!!!  Its been exactly one year since I started PoshNPetite and I have truly enjoyed every minute of it! As I mentioned in my first post here, I had a blog prior to this one but did not fully commit to it. After much debate I decided to start blogging again and I am so glad I did. It's been such a joy sharing my personal style and everyday life with you all. Its also been a joy interacting with the blogging community and discovering new fellow bloggers. You all are the best! I hope to continue this journey with you all and hope we all reach new heights as the years go by. Here's to another great year! :)

Since it was a house party I kept my outfit pretty casual for the evening. I haven't partied in awhile so it was nice to get out and see some old faces. It was an enjoyable night overall. Hey beautiful people! Happy Saturday! Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend thus far. So one of my highlights of 2013 was attending a variety of different concerts/shows/festivals throughout the year and 2014 probably wont be any different lol. This year was kicked off with Jay-Z's concert at the Verizon center which I attended this past Thursday. As usual, Jay-Z did not disappoint and had me up from my seat majority of the time! I kept my outfit pretty chill with these statement piece harem pants I got from Forever21 a few years back. I paired it with a crop top and throw on my boyfriend blazer and infinity scarf over on top to keep warm. To keep the simplicity of my look, I finished off my fit with these cute ankle flats I got from Forever21 a few weeks ago. Next concert coming up- J. Cole! :). (Yes, I will be seeing J cole again in an actual concert venue this time, not in a college gym lol) What are some of you guys favorite pass times? Feel free to leave a comment below. Hey beautiful people! Happy Sunday!! Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend thus far! Last night I attended an engagement party for my Uncle with my family. I haven't been to an African family function in awhile so it was nice to eat some good ol' African food and dance it off to some nice African tunes. For this look I decided to dabble in the mixed print trend that was very popular in 2013 by pairing this venetian patterned dress with my houndstooth jacket. Although they're two different patterns they still work well together since there both monochrome. Have you guys decided to carry this trend into 2014? I think I will be! Hello again beautiful people! Happy NEW YEAR!!! Hope everyone enjoyed their New Years Eve and is enjoying their New Years day! I enjoyed my new years with friends, family, and food! We went out to eat near the harbor then watched the ball drop at my house later on that evening. I wanted to look festive for the evening but still remain pretty chill so I paired this casual H&M sweater with this formal dress I got from Forever 21 a few years back. I think this is one of the best ways to recycle old items. Simply pair it with another item and its like brand new! I paired it with these cute Zara heels I got for Christmas. I first saw these heels on Sophie aka Fashionista804 and I just had to have them! I just love the unique edginess of the shoe!
