Hey Beautiful people! Happy Hump day! Hope everyone is enjoying their week so far! Today especially is a happy day because its both my sister's birthday today! I would like to thank the good Lord for adding another year to their lives and for blessing me with such amazing sisters! We started off their birthday celebration this weekend by exploring our creative sides at ArtJamz down in DC. Art Jamz is a public art studio and lounge located in Dupoint circle where you can paint original artwork while you socialize, browse the open bar selection, and enjoy great music! It was such a fun experience and I would def recommend it if you're looking for something different to do. Here are a few pictures from the day below along with my outfit of the day. Hey Beautiful people! Happy Thursday! Hope everyone is enjoying their week so far. Just wanted to share a quick outfit post with you all. So this past weekend I went to see Gone Girl, which I might add was one of the best movies I've seen all year! The storyline was so crazy & unpredictable, I loved every minute of it! Definitely recommend you all to go watch it if you haven't seen it yet.

I kept my outfit pretty cute & casual for the evening. The whole look definitely gave me a 90's vibe, specifically because of the thigh high socks. Definitely felt like I was channeling my inner Cher or Dionne from Clueless, hence the title of my post. For this month's challenge we decided to showcase how we would rock mixed prints. When it comes to mixing prints, the key is to find a coordinating base color.  Mix and match prints according to color and texture. Once you have your base color and texture then your good to go! HERE are some additional tips that you may find helpful.

Hey Beautiful people! Happy Monday! Hope all is well. So this past weekend was the first annual All things Ankara fashion week here in the DMV area. For those not familiar with it, All things Ankara is a blog founded by Nicolette Orji (also known as Nikki Billie Jean) that showcases Ankara fashion from all over the world. This weekend the DMV area got a three day taste of All things Ankara! The three day showcase, which started on Thursday with an official media launch, consisted of a network mixer, pop up shop & high fashion fashion shows. I was only able to make it to Saturdays event but I'm glad I was able to make it to at least one event because it was well worth it.  I definitely enjoyed the display of different Ankara fashion and the event itself was well put together. I'm definitely looking forward to more events like this and wish Nikki continued success in all she is doing. Now on to my outfit. Since the theme was All things Ankara it was a no brainer that I had to wear something with ankara print. I paired my ankara pants that I got from Harlem market a few weeks ago with a sleek body suit from American Apparel and I was good to go! Here are a few pictures I took at the event below. Good Evening Folks! Hope everyone is having a great start to their week! So last Wednesday was Nigeria's Independence Day. To celebrate I attended an independence day party down in DC which was good fun! I kept my outfit quite sexy and sophisticated with this top from Forever 21 and my ASOS skirt which I previously styled here. I finished off my look with my Zara heels and minimal jewelry to complete this chic look. Word of advice, double stick tape will be you're savior when it comes to tops like this.
