Hey Beautiful people! Happy Monday! Hope all is well. So this past weekend was the first annual All things Ankara fashion week here in the DMV area. For those not familiar with it, All things Ankara is a blog founded by Nicolette Orji (also known as Nikki Billie Jean) that showcases Ankara fashion from all over the world. This weekend the DMV area got a three day taste of All things Ankara! The three day showcase, which started on Thursday with an official media launch, consisted of a network mixer, pop up shop & high fashion fashion shows. I was only able to make it to Saturdays event but I'm glad I was able to make it to at least one event because it was well worth it.  I definitely enjoyed the display of different Ankara fashion and the event itself was well put together. I'm definitely looking forward to more events like this and wish Nikki continued success in all she is doing. Now on to my outfit. Since the theme was All things Ankara it was a no brainer that I had to wear something with ankara print. I paired my ankara pants that I got from Harlem market a few weeks ago with a sleek body suit from American Apparel and I was good to go! Here are a few pictures I took at the event below.
