Hey beautiful people! Happy Monday! Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend. I enjoyed mine by attending Cocktails with Claire this past Saturday hosted by 'Editor in Chic'  Claire Sulmers of Fashion Bomb Daily. The purpose of the event is to connect like minded individuals and to provide networking opportunities for attendees. This year Claire added a nice touch to the event by providing local up and coming designers the opportunity to showcase and sell their work. It was a night filled with lots of mingling, delicious cocktails, and an eye full of beautiful fashion! Unfortunately I arrived a little late to the event (I struggle with African time lol) and I couldn't stay too long either because I had another event to attend afterwards but the highlight of the night was getting to meet and get a picture with Claire.

She was so pleasant and soft spoken and I'm happy to say she recognized me as well :) For those who may not remember I was featured as Fashion Bombshell of the Day earlier this year. I kept my look sexy and sophisticated for the evening with this custom made thigh high skirt, a smart button up blouse, & these statement fringe heeled sandals. My outfit was inspired by a look I saw designer Stella Jean wearing sometime ago. I absolutely loved the mixed print and just had to recreate the look. I knew I wanted to turn heads with my outfit so I added my own touch by adding the thigh high split. I loved the way everything came together. Well hope you all enjoy the remainder of the week.
