A Week In My Wardrobe

Wednesday, May 27, 2015

Hey Beautiful people! Happy Hump day! Hope everyone is enjoying their week so far! So for many people the month of May is usually an exciting month. It brings us one month closer to summer and for some, prom season approaches along with countless graduations. Last week I experienced this excitement by attending several ceremonies & graduations for a few of my loved ones. It was such a fun and exciting week & I'm so proud of them all. I wish them continued success in their future endeavors and know that God has nothing but greatness in store for them! So as you all can tell from the title of the post I just wanted to share my looks from each event I attended along with pictures from the events. ***Warning: This will be a lengthy post lol*** Make sure to check out my look book on Youtube featuring these looks as well. Also, feel free to let me know which look is your favorite. Congrats again to my loved ones and the Class of 2015!! :)

So the first event I attended was my sisters pinning ceremony, which was last Monday. For those not familiar, a pinning ceremony is symbolic ceremony that welcomes newly graduated nurses into the nursing profession. I kept my outfit simple with this cute baby doll dress I styled before here with my snake print Zara flats. The outfit was cute and comfy and appropriate for the ceremony. I'm so proud of  my sister (in the white) and looking forward to my other sister (in the red) getting her Nursing degree as well in December!

On Friday I attended my cousins graduation. For this day I went for a more semi-dressy look. This outfit could easily pass for a casual look but I think my heels and accessories definitely brought it to another level. Im so proud of my cousin as well. This is one bright young lady right here and I know God has nothing but the best in store for her!

On Sunday my sister decided to have a lunch to celebrate her graduation.  Unfortunately we had soo much fun that day we forgot to take pictures at the actual lunch but I was able to take a few pics before I left. Once again I went for  comfort and wore a flowy maxi skirt with a crop top and I was good to go! Outifit details for each look can be found below. Congrats again to all the recent graduates! Till next post!
